Privacy policy

This policy explains what information DataCollide collects through datacollide.com and the DataCollide app at app.datacollide.com, how we use it and the choices you have. “We” means DataCollide, based in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
What we collect
- When you contact us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the topic you choose and your message. If you message us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive what you send us. WhatsApp is operated by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy.
- When you use the app. To check your licence we store your licence key’s status, a device identifier kept in a cookie so the licence works on one device at a time, a short description of that device (for example the browser and operating system), and the signals you generate.
- When you visit the website. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request, for security and reliability.
- Analytics. We count visits to the website with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and gives us only totals such as page views and the countries and devices visitors use.
How we use it
We use this information to reply to you, to provide and secure the app, to prevent abuse such as licence sharing, to improve the service and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The app uses one strictly necessary cookie to keep your licence signed in on your device.
Who we share it with
We share information only with providers that help us run the service, such as our web host, our database provider, Cloudflare for analytics and WhatsApp, and only as far as they need to do that work. We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and licence records only for as long as we need them for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@datacollide.com. Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storing or sending information online is completely secure.
Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 18.
Information processed in other countries
Our providers may store or process information in countries other than yours.
Changes
When we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
