Risk disclosure
Last updated 5 October 2026
Please read this before you use any DataCollide bot or act on any of its signals.
Trading carries a high level of risk
Trading leveraged products such as gold (XAU/USD) and stock indices, usually through contracts for difference (CFDs), carries a high level of risk. Prices can move quickly and sharply against you. You can lose some or all of the money you trade with, and depending on your broker’s terms you may lose more than your deposit. Leveraged trading is not suitable for everyone.
Our signals are not financial advice
DataCollide bots provide trade ideas and risk-management guidance for information only. The signals are generated by fixed rules and do not take your finances, experience, goals or risk tolerance into account. DataCollide is a technology company. We are not a broker, and we are not a licensed financial adviser.
No result is guaranteed
No bot, strategy or signal can guarantee a profit. Losing trades are a normal part of trading, and a series of losing trades can happen at any time. Past performance, including the results of backtests on historical data, is not a reliable indicator of future results. Backtests are simulations: they cannot fully reproduce real trading conditions.
Your fills may differ from the signal
A signal states an entry, a stop loss and a target. In live markets your actual prices can be different:
- Prices can gap over your stop loss, for example at the weekend open or around major news, so a loss can be larger than planned.
- Spreads can widen and orders can be filled with slippage, especially in fast or thin markets.
- By the time you place a trade, the market price may have moved away from the signal’s entry.
Technology can fail
Signals depend on market data feeds, internet connections and our software. Data can be delayed or wrong, and the app can be unavailable. Always check a trade before you place it.
You are responsible for your trades
You decide whether to trade, how much to risk, and when to close a position. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and consider getting independent advice from a licensed financial adviser before you trade.
